“MOVING INTO A NEW SEASON”

Hi Everyone,
As we move into the Fall, and a new season, God has been speaking to the leadership about the vision and mission of Elim. This is an exciting time for us!
As a church, we have experienced some amazing breakthroughs in prayer and in spiritual growth of our members locally and online. As the cooler weather arrives, we are ready to begin the updates to the upstairs sanctuary.
In August, God made it clear to me the purpose of this church is “to make disciples of Jesus Christ in all nations” (Matt. 28:19). This is not something new, but a confirmation of the vision He had given me when I first came to Camdenton. This is why as we move into September, we will be stepping out by faith.
An example of this is restarting the Ambassador School of Ministry this year and introducing a Sunday morning discipleship class. We will start with one, 8-week class this Fall. My hope is that this will develop into more classes as we grow. These classes will be available in the Fall and Spring, from 9 AM-10 AM.
To accommodate this class, we will be moving our start time for Sunday morning worship to 10:15 AM, beginning Sunday October 4th. We hope this will not inconvenience you. Our morning worship will still finish by 12 noon.

AMBASSADOR SCHOOL OF MINISTRY (ASM)
Wednesday Afternoons Beginning: September 23rd @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
We are pleased to be able to offer our nine-month discipleship program this year, for those interested in becoming or growing into a stronger disciple of Jesus Christ. These classes are to help build a strong biblical understanding of Christian ministry with hands-on practical experience as part of the training.
If you are interested in joining the ASM discipleship program, please find information and an application form in the lobby. The deadline for applications is Sunday, September 13th. If you should have any questions, please speak with Pastor David.

THE BELIEVER’S AUTHORITY 201 CLASS Begins: Sunday, October 4th @ 9 AM
The class will meet on Sunday mornings from 9 AM-10 AM. This will be a video and discussion-based class.
Our previous Believers Authority Class 101 was focused on the biblical foundations of the authority of the believer. This class helps the Believer to understand the tactics of the enemy to steal (again) a Christian’s authority and how to overcome him.
These videos are by John Bevere, from Pastor David’s library. Much of the teachings in these videos are not found in his books… it is a must for those who wish to walk in victory over the devil.
A recommended resource for this class is the book by John Bevere called Breaking Intimidation which you can either purchase yourself or order via Elim.
Please complete a class form if you wish to be part of this class. Last day to sign up is Sunday, September 27th.

CHANGE OF SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE TIME
Sunday, 4th October – 10:15 AM
A reminder, that our new start time for our Sunday morning worship service will be 10:15 AM. This new time will begin on October 4th, 2026.

SPECIAL CHURCH MEMBERS’ MEETING
Thursday September 17th @ 4 PM – 5:30 PM
This meeting is to share some information from the pastor concerning some legal and ministry aspects that are important for us as a Foursquare Church. Some of these aspects are common-sense, but many of our church members are unaware of the reasons why we do certain things. The purpose of the meeting is to share some of these, so we can continue to build on a strong foundation.
The meeting is open to all current church members. However, this meeting is essential for Church Council members, for those that are licensed or desire to be a licensed minister, and for those in leading positions. If you should have any questions, please speak with Pastor David.

WATER BAPTISM - Tentative Date – Sept. 27th
We are planning to have a water baptism in the next month. If you are interested in being baptized, please complete a form which can be found in the lobby and give it to Pastor David. If you should have any questions or you would like more information, please speak with Pastor David.

HOUR OF POWER – CORPORATE PRAYER SERVICE
Thursday October 1st @ 11:00 AM
We invite you to join us for prayer on the first Thursday of the month. These are corporate prayer meetings and will be an opportunity to pray in the Holy Spirit/tongues as well as praying in our known language. We hope you can make it!

New Cellphone App & Website
We are always trying to keep everyone informed of the events and activities that are happening around the church. Our website at www.elimfoursquare.org has a calendar which is usually up to date.
Many people today use their cellphones and tablets instead of computers to connect to the internet. To accommodate these changes in the use of technology we have created our own APP for your iPhone or Android phones. This is part of us improving and updating the way we can connect with everyone as we grow. One benefit of the app is that you can send prayer requests directly to us.
To download the app to your phone, go to your App store on your phone and search for “Elim Foursquare”. Our logo should also show up from the search. If you should have any problems, please contact us.
