The Book of Esther

On Sunday, Pastor's message discussed the Christian response to the Israel/Iran conflict. Iran used to be known as Persia. Esther, a Jew became the Queen of Persia (now known as Iran) and saved her people from an evil leader who wished to annihilate the nation of Israel.
The Book of Esther tells the story of courage and reveals the sovereign hand of God in the kingdom authorities around the world. To celebrate their salvation, Israel remembers God's faithfulness by celebrating the Feast of Purim.
